One day last week I was folding laundry when Levi woke up from his morning nap. I heard him cry and then just as suddenly, stop. Once I got to his bed, I saw why - Clayton had climbed in with him. At first Levi loved it...
...then he didn't! Just kidding. Levi loves any attention Clayton will give him. He rarely takes his eyes off him and gets so excited when Clayton actually plays with him.
Levi loves sitting in his Boppy and is getting quite good at it. I think he likes to see what is going on.
We couldn't miss Elmo when he came to town. So in the throws of a major snow, we ventured out to ScotiaBank Place to see Sesame Street Live! Elmo Makes Music. Clayton really, really enjoyed it. When the show was over, he and Nick couldn't wait to get down closer to the stage to check it all out.
Last week we went to Gatineau to the Children's Museum with Auntie Faith and Nick. It was such a fun day. They had a special Japanese exhibit. The boys had some sushi and then practiced their calligraphy with "ink."
What do you see in this ink blot?
Levi enjoyed eating lobster while we were at the museum...
In Mexico, at the museum, Clayton used playdough and a tortilla press to make tortillas and then used the blender to make salsa.
At lunch, Clayton was just a little bit tired.
A new part of the Children's Museum is the cafe. Nick and Clayton cooked us a fabulous diner-style meal. Think, Clayton likes to cook?
Over the past couple of weeks, I've heard more and more of my words (directed at Clayton) come out of Clayton's mouth. For example:
One evening Levi was fussy as we drove home. Clayton said to him, "You just stop that crying right now! I'm tired of listening to it!"

"1. 2. 3. You're in time out!"

When Clayton doesn't clean up his toys or play with them nicely, I put them in my closet. One morning I found a big stack of Levi's toys in there and after asking Clayton about them was told, "Levi wasn't playing nicely AND he didn't clean up."
I've been doing a lot of baking for the Events Committee Bake Sale. Tomorrow the ladies are coming here to decorate sugar cookies for the sale. Check out Baking at Huckleberries for some Valentine's Day cookie ideas!
Happy Valentine's Day!
